Privacy & location services

Abode’s privacy policy and terms and conditions apply to your stay. This page explains the services used by this standalone booking prototype.

Your cookie choices

Essential cookies support sessions, security, sign-in and transactions. Optional analytics and advertising tags load only after you choose Allow all. Use Cookie preferences to decline or withdraw consent. Declining does not stop you exploring homes or using essential booking features.

Maps, places & weather

Interactive maps use Mapbox. Map requests include your IP address and the displayed map area; you do not need to share your device location. Optional Mapbox performance metrics are disabled. See Mapbox privacy.

When you type a location search, your query and the selected market are sent through our server to Google Places. Suggestions are attributed to Google Maps and are not plotted on Mapbox maps. Google’s Maps terms and privacy policy apply to that service. Queries are not stored in our database.

Weather is requested for a destination’s public center, not your device location or guest address. Current conditions and forecasts come from Tomorrow.io.

Payments & accounts

This prototype does not collect card numbers or security codes. Payment collection remains unavailable until an approved provider-hosted payment flow is connected and verified. Guest and operator access are separate and require the configured identity provider.
